About

A bit about my path

I'm a credit quantitative strategist based in London, currently a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where I work across portfolio trading, index quoting strategies, and structured financing analytics for credit and fixed income desks. Day to day, that means building pricing models, running statistical and machine-learning research on trading data, and supporting the desks that use it live.

Before this, I interned on the Equity Flow Vol Quantitative Analytics team at Citigroup and on the Structured Finance and Lending desk at Goldman Sachs. My path into finance came through an unusually technical route: a Master's in Mathematical and Computational Engineering from IMT Atlantique in Brest, France, preceded by two years of French preparatory classes (classes prépa) in mathematics, physics, and engineering at Lycée Faidherbe in Lille.

I'm FCA certified, bilingual in French and English, and still working on my Spanish. Outside of markets, I spend a fair amount of time running medium and long distances, playing basketball, cooking, and travelling.

Beyond the day job

A few years ago I started Studies and Careers, a YouTube project aimed at helping students think through academic and professional decisions — a mix of practical advice and the kind of guidance I wish I'd had earlier in my own path from a French prépa to quant finance in London.

These days I'm also taking on a small number of independent consulting projects — mostly around data-driven forecasting and automation for businesses that want to replace manual process with something more rigorous. If that's relevant to you, I'd like to hear from you on the contact page.

This site is where I write about all of it: markets, code, the occasional career reflection, and whatever else feels worth putting into words.
